Journeys and Reflections

Every Day Has An Adventure

With 30+ sled dogs constantly requiring attention, each day brings new challenges and rewards. From raising puppies to training for the Iditarod, the Salty Dog Kennel's true meaning can't be conveyed in a list of completed races. Each day, the journey to the starting line provides an opportunity for dog and people alike to do what they love.

Races do, however, provide a snapshot of the hard work we put into our kennel and team. Often, each start and finish represent much more than the completion of a race. Below, you will find a summary of the races that the Salty Dog Kennel has participated in. In addition, some reflections have been included about our travels.
